Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest private funder of breast cancer research and community outreach programs. Last year alone, 122 Komen Affiliates helped to complement government efforts to fight breast cancer by providing more than $77 million in grants for breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects within their communities.
Our Affiliate has been active in our community to raise funds and public awareness about breast cancer. This year, the El Paso Affiliate is pleased to fund $415,089 to the El Paso Community. Since our inception, the El Paso Affiliate has contributed $2.6 million dollars to the fight against breast cancer.
